Mississippi Pot Roast



A tasty pot roast recipe that is cooked slowly in a slow cooker, making meat that is tender and juicy and full of ranch and au jus flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 1 3-4 lb chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 5-6 pepperoncini peppers

Instructions:

Put the chuck roast in the crock pot

Cover the roast with au jus gravy mix and ranch seasoning mix

Cover the roast with butter

Pepperoncini peppers should be put around the roast

For 8 hours, or until the roast is soft, cover and cook on low heat

Use two forks to shred the meat, and serve it with the cooking juices
